Christopher J. Stravitsch, MA, is Director of Collegians for Assumption Seminary where he serves as a Formation Advisor to seminarians and facilitates priestly formation groups on the virtues, Lectio Divina, and John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  Mr. Stravitsch also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha, Nebraska, where he teaches Christian Spirituality and Sexuality in the Spiritual Formation for Diocesan Seminarians summer program.  As a graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Stravitsch earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then went on to earn Master of Arts degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.  He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, and Associate Member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.  Through his private practice—Rejoice Family Ministries and Counseling—he offers consultation in marriage and family ministries and also practices individual, marital, and family therapy.  He and his wife, Sarah, especially enjoy giving presentations about the spirituality of marriage and family life.  They have one son and two daughters.

Arland K. Nichols, M.Div.,is the National Director of HLI America, an educational initiative of Human Life International. 
While serving as instructor of Morality and Bioethics at Pope John XXIII High School in Katy, Texas, he co-founded  the Archdiocese of San Antonio’s continuing education program for medical professionals, “Converging Roads: Bioethics, Healthcare and Catholic Teaching,” where he remains the Associate Director.  In his years teaching he is most proud of his having founded “Ladies of Virtue,” a student-run organization dedicated to providing formation and fellowship to young women in high school.

 

Mr. Nichols graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Philosophy, and he earned a Masters of Divinity from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Theology.  He holds a certification in Health Care Ethics from the National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC), and is a member of the Catholic Medical Association (CMA), NCBC, and Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.

 

An accomplished writer on issues that touch upon the dignity of the human person, Mr. Nichols’s work has been published in National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly, Homiletic and Pastoral Review, The Linacre Quarterly, New Oxford Review, and Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Quarterly. A highly regarded speaker, he has given presentations at Texas A&M University, University of St. Thomas, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, UT School of Medicine, Houston, the poster session of the annual conference of the CMA, Baylor University, UT School of Medicine, Galveston, and numerous parishes.  He has also guest-hosted a San Antonio television and radio program, “Catholicism Live.”

 

Mr. Nichols and his wife, Cindy, reside in Front Royal with their three children, Joseph Daniel, Mary Catherine, and Thomas Augustine.

Rev. Jaime E. Robledo, S.T.L.,is an Instructor for Moral Theology on the Faculty of St. Patrick’s Seminary and University in Menlo Park, California. A native of Tuluá, Colombia, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Buga, Colombia in 1990 as he completed the Master of Divinity at Seminario Mayor San Pedro Cali, Colombia.  Fr. Robledo later became the Rector of Seminario Los Doce Apóstles in Buga, Colombia and the Rector of the Institute for the New Evangelization of Culture associated with Pontifical Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia.  Fr. Robledo holds a Sacred Theological Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and is a Doctoral Candidate in Bioethics from the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy.

William P. Mueller

William P. Mueller, MD, CNFPMC, CFCP, FCE

William P. Mueller, M.D.,  is a board certified family physician in the United States Air Force.  He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1987 where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering.  He began his Air Force career as a pilot and went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in 1998.  He is currently a dual-rated pilot-physician at Randolph AFB, TX. 

Dr. Mueller's conviction that "the family is the basic cell of society" led him to become triple certified as a FertilityCare Practitioner, Medical Consultant, and Educator at the Pope Paul VI Institute of Human Reproduction.  He specialized in Natural Family Planning during his family practice residency and presented numerous lectures relating contemporary medical issues to marriage and family life.  Though new to the San Antonio area, Dr. Mueller is helping to form a local guild of the Catholic Medical Association.  Bill, his wife, Teri, and their sons Paul and Mark live in Cibolo, Texas.

Rev. Arnold Ibarra, Ph.D., is a Formation Advisor and Spiritual Director for Assumption Seminary and teaches philosophy for Oblate School of Theology and the Mexican American Catholic College.  A native of Manila, Philippines, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Tarlac, Philippines, as he completed the Master of Divinity.  Fr. Ibarra holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain.
